Your finds are yours.

The landing page includes public TikTok video players. When a player comes into view, your browser connects to TikTok, which may receive your IP address, device information and cookies under its own privacy policy. Videos play muted; you can pause the carousel. Meadow does not send your account, searches or microphone audio to these players.

Meadow uses and transfers user data in compliance with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Meadow Shopper searches products using the text and up to three still frames you deliberately submit. Screenshots and search text are analyzed by a vision model through Vercel AI Gateway (Meta Muse Spark Open, served by Baseten or Together AI) to identify the requested item. A cropped image and product description are sent to Shopify’s product catalog. A visual description may also be sent to Google Gemini Flash-Lite through AI Gateway and Exa web search to recover retail model names. Meadow may also read product pages and photos from a fixed list of official retailers. It does not send your source frames or account identity to those retailer pages. Web results are search hints, not proof of a match. Candidate photos are compared with your image by Google Gemini 2.5 Flash through AI Gateway before a match is returned. Meadow processes these images in server memory and does not save them in your shopping account or a media library. Images are re-encoded without source metadata before being sent for matching. This describes Meadow’s storage; external providers have their own retention policies.

Voice search starts when you tap the microphone or deliberately run Meadow’s voice shortcut. Your device or browser’s speech recognition provider may process that audio under its own privacy terms. This app receives the resulting text. On iOS 18 or later, deliberately running Talk to Meadow can listen while you remain in another app. A Live Activity shows that the microphone is on. Each recording ends after a pause, a second tap, or at most 12 seconds. Meadow does not save the audio to disk. It uses on-device speech recognition when available; otherwise Apple’s speech service may process the audio. If you set up Vocal Shortcuts, iPhone listens for your chosen phrase under Apple’s accessibility settings.

The mobile app saves your cart on your device: product name, seller, selected options (when chosen), product image link, the price when saved, your search request for automatically saved suggestions, and the time you saved it. Saved items do not reserve stock or place orders. Remove items in the Cart tab. Device backups may include saved cart data under your operating system’s backup settings. Meadow does not sync this cart to a server.

The optional desktop Chrome companion runs on TikTok and Instagram. Pressing \ or its toolbar flower captures up to three frames from the visible video, without pausing it. For protected videos, Chrome may require a click on the toolbar flower to grant temporary access to the visible tab. Meadow can reuse that grant only for the same active tab and document. You can instead choose optional one-key capture in the companion’s settings. Chrome requires access to all websites for that mode, which technically permits reading and changing data on all sites. Meadow’s code still captures only the focused TikTok or Instagram tab when you deliberately request it. Declining or revoking this optional permission keeps the toolbar option available. A capture can include other visible page content. Switching away cancels the request. Frames are sent to Meadow’s background helper and the visual search providers described above. Your full clip is never uploaded. Its required website permissions cover TikTok, Instagram and Meadow; broader access is optional and requires your separate approval in Chrome. It does not request Chrome’s cookies API permission. It selects your built-in Mac microphone explicitly, never an iPhone input. Chrome may send speech to Google. The microphone opens for a deliberate request. With backslash, release stops recording; cancellation, leaving the feed or a 15-second limit also stop it. The toolbar alternative stops after a pause or an explicit finish. There is no continuous desktop wake-word listener. Enabling Meadow and your popup position are saved in Chrome local storage; disabling Meadow stops requests, and removing the extension clears those preferences. Reloading a page does not turn Meadow off. Its fixed Meadow helper page may reopen in a background tab when you request a search; it does not navigate your feed.

The web app keeps possible matches, product image links, your search description, and save time in this browser’s local storage, separated by account or guest preview. Finds expire after 24 hours and are removed when next read, rather than by a timer while your browser is closed. Clear finds or sign out to remove them from this browser. Removing finds on one device does not erase separate copies on another device. The companion keeps temporary connection and active-request metadata in Chrome session storage, and enabled/position preferences in local storage. It does not persist screenshots, audio, account passwords, account session tokens, or search text in extension storage. Aggregate model token counts and cost estimates may be logged without your request text or images. Desktop purchase records contain the account identifier, payment reference, remaining searches, expiration and reservation status, never the searched items. Older subscription search counters contain the account identifier, month, count and reset date. Web finds and the iPhone cart do not sync between devices.

With an optional iPhone shopping session, you authorize Apple’s screen broadcast control each session. Meadow keeps up to four recent still images in protected, backup-excluded storage on your phone, ignores audio, and pauses capture while Meadow is open. Everything visible in other apps, including notifications, can be captured. It does not send a continuous video stream. Sessions expire after 30 minutes, and you can stop with the iPhone recording control or in Meadow. Frames expire after 12 seconds, are cleared when consumed or stopped, and any remaining files from an interrupted process are cleared when the app next checks the session. Signing out also stops the session and clears captures.

Running your Meadow voice shortcut during a session selects a recent still image before listening. When you finish speaking your request, the text and image are sent for matching automatically. The first product suggestion waits in protected, backup-excluded storage on your phone, scoped to the current account or internal guest preview. It is added to Cart when Meadow next opens. Pending suggestions older than 24 hours are discarded when the app next reads the queue. Signing out clears them. A suggestion is a possible match, not a verified exact item or a purchase. You select options and review the merchant before buying.

On iPhone, a shortcut can also pass a screenshot that you explicitly capture into Meadow’s private app storage. That temporary capture is excluded from backups and removed when the app reads it. Captures older than two minutes are discarded when read. The image stays in app memory while you compose your search; it is sent for matching when you submit by speaking your request or tapping Find.

Product photos load from Shopify’s CDN and approved official retailer image hosts. These requests expose ordinary connection metadata to the image host; Meadow sends no referrer. When you continue to a merchant, that merchant handles payment, delivery, and its own privacy practices. Meadow cannot see your card details and does not place orders for you.

Some product pages include an optional, clearly labeled TikTok Shop affiliate offer. If you choose that link and buy, our creator partner may earn a commission under TikTok’s rules. The link carries the creator’s referral information; TikTok may use its own cookies and account data to attribute purchases. Meadow does not send your search, screenshots, microphone audio or Meadow account identity through that link. We do not visit affiliate links in the background, replace other creators’ links, or change product matching based on commissions. Prices, colors, coupons and eligibility must be checked at TikTok Shop.

Hosting may keep technical request metadata for security. Application logs record model usage and operational failures, without submitted search text or image content. We do not use your searches to train a Meadow model. Our AI Gateway requests ask for providers that do not train on prompts; this is separate from data retention. Provider routing and account settings affect those protections. Meadow does not embed advertising trackers; an affiliate destination’s tracking starts only if you choose to visit it.

Meadow Labs Inc. sells desktop searches and the existing website membership, with payment processed by Stripe. Current desktop sign-in uses email codes delivered by Resend through Supabase. Where Google sign-in is enabled for an existing flow, Google and Supabase may process your basic profile, including name, picture and email; Meadow’s account records use the verified identity and email. This sign-in does not request access to Gmail, Drive or contacts. Google tokens are not saved in Meadow’s account database or browser storage. Meadow attempts to revoke the temporary Supabase login session after creating your Meadow session; a provider outage can delay that revocation. Web/iPhone email sign-in also uses Resend and Supabase. Use the same email to access existing purchases. We store your account identifier, email, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, subscription status and expiry in Supabase. Search purchases also retain payment identifiers, purchase and expiration times, and the searches used or restored after a failed search. Stripe handles card details; Meadow does not store them. Account sessions use hashed tokens on the server, an HttpOnly cookie on the website, and device-only Keychain storage on iPhone. They expire after 14 days and can be revoked by signing out or deleting your account. Sign-in requests may forward your IP address from our trusted hosting service to Supabase to enforce sign-in rate limits. Short-lived hashed request counters protect against abuse. Failed or pending searches count toward a ten-minute cooldown; those records contain no search text or images. Hashing an identifier does not make it anonymous.

Delete your Meadow Shopper account from Account on the website or in the iPhone app. Deletion immediately ends access, cancels Stripe renewal, and removes your Shopper account identity and sessions. Minimal billing identifiers remain to prevent delayed payment notifications from recreating a deleted account. Stripe retains required transaction records. Payment and reversal records are retained to reconcile payments and prevent duplicate grants. Monthly usage counts and hashed abuse counters can remain until routine cleanup; they contain no searched items. Provider backups and logs follow their own deletion schedules. We cannot remotely erase browser storage on a device that has not connected again. A shared sign-in identity used by another Meadow service is separate from your Shopper account and is preserved. Google sign-in identities are treated as shared; deleting Meadow does not delete your Google account or that shared Auth identity. Email-code identities created exclusively for Shopper are removed. Signing out or deleting your account in the iPhone app also clears saved finds from that device. For privacy questions or help deleting records, contact ben@simplrads.com.

Encrypted recovery copies of Shopper account and billing records use a scheduled seven-day rotation. They contain no saved login sessions, search requests, captured frames, or shared Meadow sign-in database. Deleted account details can remain in a recovery copy until its rotation completes. Recovery copies are restricted to recovery operations; the private recovery key is kept separately from the app and backup storage.

Service providers

Vercel hosts Meadow and routes visual requests to the configured AI provider (Google by default). Shopify supplies catalog results and product photos; Exa can receive a product description for web research. Supabase stores account and usage records and verifies Google sign-in. Resend delivers legacy email sign-in codes through Supabase’s configured email service, and Stripe processes payments and subscriptions. Resend’s published policy retains email and log data for 30 days; your inbox provider controls its own copy. Browser speech recognition can send audio to Google separately from Meadow. Product photo requests reveal ordinary connection information to Shopify’s CDN. Opening a merchant link shares connection information with that merchant.

Provider practices are explained in Vercel’s AI Gateway policies, Shopify’s privacy policy, Exa’s privacy policy, Google’s privacy policy, Supabase’s privacy policy, Resend’s security and retention policy, and Stripe’s privacy policy. Meadow does not promise zero retention across every provider. Please do not submit private messages, sensitive documents, or payment details.
